Learn More About Dr. Rodney Johnson
Dr. Rodney Johnson is native to Dublin, Georgia and understands the need for local physicians and specialists. He graduated with honors from Dublin High School and then with honors from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering. He attended medical school and completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Johnson then completed a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy/Immunology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), where he also served as a Clinical Instructor for the UMKC School of Medicine.
Much of Dr. Johnson's fellowship training was spent providing state-of-the-art pediatric allergy, asthma, and immunology care at the renowned Children's Mercy Hospital and Clinics in Kansas City, which serves as a major pediatric referral center for particularly complex allergic and immunologic conditions. In addition, he received extensive training in adult allergy and immunology at the Truman Medical Center.
Dr. Johnson is fellowship-trained and board certified in allergy and immunology, as well as internal medicine. He is well-known by his patients to have an exceptionally positive and friendly bedside manner while consistently delivering the most current evidence-based medical care for his patients.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (FACAAI) and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (FAAAAI), as well as a member of the Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Society of Georgia. Dr. Rodney Johnson was awarded the 2023 Castle Connolly top doctors recognition and was again awarded the Castle Connolly top doctors recognition for 2024.
Dr. Johnson is able to provide the highest quality care for many allergic and immunologic diseases, including allergic rhinitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, drug allergy, urticaria, hereditary angioedema, and immunodeficiencies including T-cell, B-cell and phagocytic disorders, among others.

Jeremi Hightower joined Middle Georgia Allergy and Asthma as a physician assistant in the fall of 2019. A native of Dublin and a graduate of the University of Georgia, Jeremi completed her Master of Physician Assistant degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 2014. She has four years of experience in the field of pediatrics. She enjoys watching Georgia football, serving at her local church and spending time with her family. Jeremi and her husband Adam have three boys.

Middle Georgia Allergy and Asthma is proud to announce and welcome Madeleine Price PA-C to the Dublin, Laurens County area. She is originally from Dublin and completed her college degree in Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University. She graduated with honors from Georgia Southern University and then completed her education at South University with her Master of Physicians Assistant Studies in March 2022. She attained board certification as a certified physician assistant and then was employed in Columbus, GA and Auburn, AL returning to Dublin, Georgia. She sees both pediatric and adult patients.
Madeleine enjoys watching the Braves, doing CrossFit, running, and spending time with her husband, Luke Price and their baby boy, Reese. Excited to return to their home town, they are able to spend time with family and lifelong friends.
